Integrating Behavioral Health Care into an Urban Hospital-Based Pediatric Primary Care Setting

Integration of behavioral health into pediatric primary care clinics is a recommended practice with potential to address the mental needs underserved children. We describe our process integrating team hospital-based that serves low-income, ethnically diverse, and population children youth in southeastern U.S. provide summary four-year program evaluation feasibility acceptability embedding practice. also discuss challenges faced, including staff turnover difficulty billing for sustainability. Finally, we recommendations seek integrate their practices.
